The fellowship reflects the Alisbah family\u2019s longstanding commitment to supporting education and future educators.\n  <\/p>\n<div class=\"gse-contact\">\n<h2>Bilsel Alisbah Fellowship Award Presented<\/h2>\n<p>\n      Each year, one or more Bilsel Alisbah Fellowships are awarded to MA students in the Faculty of Education\u2019s <strong>Curriculum and Instruction with Teaching Certificate (CITE)<\/strong> program.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      The 2021-2022 academic year recipient, <strong>Deniz Kaygusuz<\/strong>, received the award at a ceremony held via Zoom on March 30 in recognition of her outstanding potential in both academic and professional endeavors.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      Established to support Bilkent University\u2019s efforts to prepare a \u201cnew breed\u201d of teachers with advanced qualifications through the CITE program, the fellowships honor the memory of <strong>Bilsel Alisbah (1937\u20132017)<\/strong>. They represent the second category of fellowship instituted at the university through the generosity of the Alisbah family.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      In 1998, Bilsel Alisbah\u2014then a lecturer at Bilkent University\u2014began presenting fellowships to students in the Department of Mathematics in memory of his father, <strong>Prof. Orhan Alisbah<\/strong>, one of Turkey\u2019s most distinguished mathematicians.
